It’s Time to Meet the ‘Survivor’ Season 49 Cast—Including This Season’s Winner
Two of the season 49 players will also be on Survivor 50, which drops next spring.
Survivor has been gracing our screens for 49 seasons, rightfully earning its title as one of the best reality competition shows of all time. There’s just something about watching a group of castaways compete for a grand prize of $1 million that really gets our gears going, okay? Players get dropped off in a land far away, divided into tribes, fall into showmances, and compete in challenges with their peers for the title of Sole Survivor, as well as the cash.
Now that its highly anticipated 49th season is upon us, it’s time to meet all the 18 castaways that will quickly become fan favorites. Oh, and fun fact: Two season 49 players will also be joining Survivor 50, but those names will be revealed at a later date. Another fun fact: Both Jason Treul and Michelle “MC” Chukwujekwu were originally brought to Fiji as alternates—but when (for the first time ever!), two players were sent home before the start of the game for breaking Survivor rules, the alternates became actual contestants just hours before filming began.
